METHODS
& TECHNOLOGIES
As soon as we receive electronic waste the process of
recycling is carried out in stages:
MANUAL PROCESS
STAGE-1
Hazardous and non-hazardous waste is sorted out and
segregated. Hazardous waste is sent to safe storage.
(Monitors, PCB). From non hazardous waste the aggressive
disassembly is carried out to retrieve materials in
their original form. (For ex; metal to metal, plastic
to plastic, glass-to-glass etc). In this STAGE-1 employment
opportunities are provided to skilled and unskilled
workers in plenty.
A sprawling 10 acres of land is ready with us for our
expansion plans to accommodate a workforce of around
200 members and also to store a mammoth electronic waste
which is generated at an alarming level.
AUTOMATED PROCESS
STAGE-2 “DIFFERENCE IN DENSITY SEPERATION”
A dry mechanical separation suitable for recycling of
Printed circuit boards and other complex scrap. By this
process the individual metals are recovered in its purest
form.
STAGE-3 “SUB ZERO PROCESS”
This process is a safe and environment friendly. It
is used for the recovery of precious metals like Gold
and Platinum from PCB’s, microprocessors, pins,
sockets etc.
STAGE-4 “CATHODE RAY TUBE RECYCLING”
We are in the process of buying ‘MRT CRT Machine’.
It is designed for safe processing of CRTs from TV Screens
and PC monitors of various types and sizes. In three
consecutive processing steps the CRT is disassembled
into different fractions. The process is semi-automatic
with a capacity of 45 CRTs per hour {20inch monitor).
Right now we are storing the TV Screens and PC monitors
safely at our hazardous waste storage section as the
automated process requires huge volume to start functioning.
(Required authorization for storage is given to us by
Karnataka State Pollution Control Board)
